Swimming Pool Flooring in Bangladesh

The monsoon brings the bigger structural challenge. Months of heavy rain raise the water table across Dhaka, Narayanganj, and low-lying areas all over Bangladesh, pushing groundwater against the outside of the pool shell, a condition called 'negative hydrostatic pressure' that can force water inward and lift ordinary coatings. To counter it, we use crystalline waterproofing that penetrates and seals the concrete from within, combined with cementitious membranes rated for negative-side pressure so the shell stays watertight even when surrounded by saturated ground. High humidity also slows curing and encourages mould on damp surfaces, so we manage drying conditions carefully and specify sealed, non-porous finishes that resist algae through the wet months. Building for these conditions from the start is why our pools hold up year after year in the Bangladeshi climate.
